Frequently Asked Questions

Technical Support & Research Guidelines for Celvive Compounds

How do I verify the purity of my Celvive peptides?

Every batch at Celvive is tested using HPLC and Mass Spectrometry. You can view the specific Certificate of Analysis (COA) for each batch on our Lab Testing page. We guarantee a minimum purity of 99% for all research compounds.

In what form are the peptides delivered?

All our peptides are delivered in lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder form. This process ensures maximum stability during transit and extends the shelf life of the compound significantly.

How should I store lyophilized peptides?

For long-term storage, lyophilized vials should be kept in a freezer at -20°C (-4°F). For short-term research (under 3 months), refrigeration at 2-8°C (35-46°F) is sufficient. Vials should be kept away from direct light.

How long is the peptide stable after reconstitution?

Once reconstituted with Bacteriostatic Water, most peptides should be used within 3 to 4 weeks, provided they are stored in a refrigerator (2-8°C). Stability varies by compound; for example, GHK-Cu is highly stable, while IGF-1 LR3 is more fragile.

What liquid should be used for reconstitution?

Researchers typically use Bacteriostatic Water (0.9% Benzyl Alcohol) for reconstitution to prevent bacterial growth. Sterile water can be used for single-use research protocols, but is not recommended for multi-use vials.

Why is the volume of powder different between vials?

The appearance of the “cake” or powder varies. Some peptides require more fillers (like Mannitol) for stability during the freeze-drying process, while others do not. The volume of powder does not indicate the dosage; the precise milligram (mg) content is verified by our lab analysis.

Do peptides degrade during shipping at room temperature?

Lyophilized peptides are highly resilient. Studies show that freeze-dried peptides can withstand room temperature for several weeks without significant degradation. Once received, they should be placed in cold storage immediately.

Are these products for human consumption?

No. All products sold by Celvive are strictly for laboratory research and in-vitro testing only. They are not intended for human or veterinary use, and any misuse is strictly prohibited under our terms of service.
