Frequently asked questions
Storage, stability, testing, ordering and research use.
Quality and testing
How is purity verified?
Celvive states that every batch is tested by HPLC for purity and by mass spectrometry for identity. Certificates are not yet published online; you can ask for the certificate of a specific batch from the Quality page. Whether it can be supplied is for Celvive to confirm.
In what form are the peptides delivered?
As lyophilised (freeze-dried) powder in sealed glass vials. Freeze-drying keeps the compound stable in transit and extends shelf life. Solvents are supplied as liquids. QuickPen products are pre-filled pens; their fill volume and concentration are not yet published.
Why does the amount of powder differ between vials?
The appearance of the cake varies. Some compounds need more excipient, such as mannitol, to stay stable during freeze-drying. The powder volume does not indicate the amount of compound; the milligram content is what the label states.
Storage and stability
How should lyophilised vials be stored?
For long-term storage keep vials in a freezer at -20 °C. For short-term storage of under three months, refrigeration at 2 to 8 °C is sufficient. Keep vials away from direct light.
Do peptides degrade in transit at room temperature?
Lyophilised peptides tolerate room temperature for several weeks without significant degradation. Place them in cold storage on receipt.
How long is a peptide stable after reconstitution?
Most reconstituted peptides should be used within three to four weeks when refrigerated at 2 to 8 °C. Stability varies by compound: GHK-Cu is comparatively stable, IGF-1 LR3 is fragile.
Ordering and shipping
Where do you ship and what does it cost?
Tracked shipping costs EUR 9.95 per order, by DHL within Europe. Delivery estimates: Benelux 1 to 2 business days, Germany and France 2 to 3, the rest of Europe 3 to 5. Destinations outside Europe are shipped with a standard tracked service.
How can I pay?
By bank transfer or by crypto payment (BTC or USDT), chosen at checkout. Payment details are shown after you place the order, and the order is processed once payment is confirmed.
Is the packaging discreet?
Yes. Orders ship in neutral, unbranded parcels with no mention of the contents or of Celvive on the outside. Vials sit in fitted inserts.
Can I return a product?
Opened or unsealed vials cannot be returned. A replacement or refund applies to transit damage documented within 24 hours, to a wrong compound received, and to an independent HPLC result below the certified purity.
Research use
Are these products for human use?
No. Every product is designated for laboratory research and in-vitro use only. They are not for human or veterinary use, and our descriptions do not contain protocols, dosing or usage guidance.
Which solvent is used for reconstitution?
Laboratories typically use bacteriostatic water (0.9% benzyl alcohol) when a vial will be drawn from more than once, and sterile water for single-use work. Peptides with basic residues that dissolve poorly in water are first dissolved in dilute acetic acid.
