Selank
What it is
Selank is a seven-amino-acid peptide derived from the immunomodulatory peptide tuftsin with a C-terminal Pro-Gly-Pro extension. It originates from Russian neuropeptide research and is studied in anxiety and cognition models.
Where it has been studied
- Anxiety-like behaviour models in rodents
- GABAergic and serotonergic signalling
