ACE-031 (ACVR2B-Fc) is a recombinant fusion protein that combines the extracellular domain of the activin receptor type IIB with an immunoglobulin Fc region. It binds ligands of the TGF-beta family such as myostatin (GDF-8) and activin A in solution, which is why it is used as a decoy receptor in research.
