What it is

FOXO4-DRI (Proxofim) is a cell-permeable peptide built from D-amino acids in reverse sequence order, designed to disrupt the binding of the transcription factor FOXO4 to p53 in senescent cells.

Where it has been studied

  • Senolytic mechanisms in cell culture
  • Ageing and chemotoxicity models in mice
  • FOXO4 and p53 signalling

Handling

  • Lyophilised peptides tolerate room temperature for several weeks in transit. Move to cold storage on receipt.
  • Reconstituted vials are typically used within three to four weeks at 2 to 8 °C; stability varies by compound.
  • Opened or unsealed vials cannot be returned. Transit damage must be documented within 24 hours.
